Glasgow Airport (IATA: GLA, ICAO: EGPF) is an international airport located 9.9 miles west of Glasgow. As the second largest airport in Scotland, Glasgow handles both regional traffic from the Hebrides, western Scotland and England, as well as international traffic from mainland Europe and the east coast of North America.

Glasgow's largest tenants are British Airways and Flybe, serving locations throughout the British Isles. Glasgow is a base for a number of low cost airlines, including EasyJet and Thomas Cook, which serve both major cities and holiday locations.

The airport has a single runway and single terminal. The terminal is formed of three piers and four concourses. Concourse A and B are both housed in the eastern pier. Concourse B is made up of 4 contact and 2 remote stands and serves widebody aircraft on international routes, while Concourse A serves as a bus terminal for access to remote stands elsewhere on the airport grounds. The centre pier holds Concourse C, home to British Airways and Flybe, and consists of 9 gates, 3 of which will eventually use jetway connections. The smaller western pier serves Concourse D, home to most of Glasgow's low-cost airlines. All 7 gates here are served by airstairs.
